Compared to Sony SLT-A55, Sony SLT-A57 Upgraded Features Preview

Sony will release two new SLT-series cameras on July 7th: one is Sony SLT-A77; and another is considered to be the successor of Sony SLT-A55. But compared to Sony SLT-A55, what will be the upgraded features of Sony SLT-A57? Here is the preview of the Sony SLT-A57 main performance.

In terms of the reliable source, the Sony SLT-A57 looks almost exactly like the Sony SLT-A77 except the sensor. So the Sony SLT-A57 main features are expected to be:

- 18MP new Sony sensor
- 1080p/30fps, 720p/60fps and 720p/30fps high-definition video recording
- AF fine-tuning capabilities
- Improved BIONZ image processor
- An improved focusing system ( quite fast and accurate )
- Max ISO 100, 000
- 3-inch 921K dot OLED viewfinder 
- support CF, SD and Memory Stick memory card

So the Sony SLT-A57 will have better EVF that hopefully allows for studio work and better reproduction of the scene, better ergonomics, flash performance, higher resolution and better high ISO handling. But geared towards consumer users.

In addition, the Sony SLT-A57 will have the same size to the A77, they are both too small or the A57 will be much bigger than the A55. Wish all of these be true~
